About me

You know that crazy person that shouts 'dog!' every time they see a dog out on the street?...
 
That's me!

I am Ashleigh, a professional pet portrait artist living and working in Glasgow, Scotland. ​

 

I have been drawing and creating my whole life. As a child I loved nothing more than drawing, painting and creating all sorts of things out of paper.

 

Art was always my favourite subject in school and the only thing I ever wanted to do. 

 

I've was so lucky to have been given a place at art school and I graduated from the world renowned Glasgow School of Art in 2010.

how I got started

I work in the creative industries and, like a lot of us, found myself working from home during lockdown in 2020.

With nowhere to go and nothing to do I picked up my pencils for the first time in years. An old hobby became a new one and very soon I was being asked to draw portraits of my friends and family's pets and it just snowballed from there!

​

I continue to be so humbled by the reaction my work creates and I am incredibly grateful for every client who has made this venture possible. To be trusted with your hard earned money and beloved pets image is an honour.
